The outlook of Interceptor is the stark science fiction future as imagined by the people of 1979: shortages, overpopulation, petrol crisis and the looming threat of nuclear war. There are no cell phones, no internet, no social media. Heavy cars barrel along neglected highways at unsafe speeds. It’s a branch of the future that humanity turned away from, but one that Interceptor accelerates into.
