Each piece of artwork was commissioned to help pull your players into the adventure before the story even begins.

Sarah B. Turner (Illustrator) fell in love with TTRPGs at age 14, and has been inspired by them ever since. She couldn’t stop drawing her characters (a struggle that persists to this day, and drove her to earn her Illustration BFA at CSULB). Through her art, she aims to share the creativity and camaraderie that roleplaying games have brought into her life. She lives in Missoula, Montana with her husband and two perfect cats.
Everett Patterson is an illustrator and animation director in Portland, OR. He loves creating lively scenes crammed with storytelling detail, and yet still complains when his floor is covered in Legos.
Chris is a freelance illustrator, concept artist and 2D game artist based in Worcester, UK, specialising in narrative-driven art for video games and board games. He creates whimsical, cozy illustrations centred around a lifelong love of history, fantasy, mythology, folklore, and fairy tales. His art focuses on atmospheric storytelling to create inviting worlds that are easy to delve into. He loves creating art depicting tiny details (and tiny people) amongst vast backgrounds, where quiet, humble stories can be told.
Behind The Scenes
"When Emberglow Gaming initially reached out, they'd just asked for one piece depicting a castle wall with cool stonework, windows, moss, etc. At the time I found architecture very boring to draw, and wanted to find a way to make it more interesting for myself. So I sketched what they asked for—but also sketched a Rivendell-inspired castle with all sorts of mountains and rivers and trees. They loved them both so much they commissioned both.
I was heavily inspired by my favorite illustrator, Kilian Eng—especially his Lord of the Rings and Castlevania pieces. The way he draws architecture brought some life into the project for me, and I ended up discovering a new artistic interest!"
